We have a lot of great ministry opportunities for the whole family.  Our goal is not only for folks to be provided with great opportunities to be served and fed spiritually... (but we do)  Our goal is also to give folks an opportunity to use their God given gifts and talents to serve people.  Matthew 22: 37f says that we are to Love God with everything we are and to show it by serving and loving everyone around us.  It's our desire to give people the opportunity to do just that!!

We have a full and exciting ministry for children here at FBC Waycross! Camps, trips, Vacation Bible School, and numerous activities are planned to meet the needs of growing boys and girls. Sunday School Classes, and graded missions and choir programs help lay a strong spiritual foundation for our children. All of these experiences are for the purpose of leading children to know God’s love and to choose to live like and for Jesus.

The Adult Ministry’s goal is to lead people to be more like Christ every day and center their lives around serving Him. We encourage each member to connect to a Bible study class, where we emphasize growing warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship and study, and stronger through worship. Bible study is offered for young and median age adults on Sunday Mornings as well as Discipleship Classes on Wednesday evenings.

Our senior adult ministry offers Bible studies, social outings and monthly gatherings. We also provide transportation to and from Baptist Village and regular events specifically for residents

In a nutshell, this scripture tells us who we are to be and how we are to act as followers of Jesus Christ.  In other words, it says that above all things we are to Love God and to do it by Loving everyone around us.  

As the youth ministry of FBC Waycross, GA, this is the goal we are striving for!  It is to provide young people with opportunities to come to faith in Jesus Christ, grow deeper in their faith and knowledge of God, and to give those things life by using them to Love and serve those around us.

Wednesdays:
5:30 – Family Night Dinner
6:00 – Youth Fellowship in the “Loft”
7:00 – Youth Worship in the “Loft”
Sundays:
9:15 a.m. – Sunday School in the “Loft”
6:30 p.m. -  Youth Leadership Team Meets First Sunday of the Month

The First Baptist Waycross understands the Biblical commands to worship and proclaim our Christian faith through music. We offer persons of all ages opportunities to sing their faith and learn how to better praise their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
